Lightness

ACERDE's targets are twice lighter than massive TZM targets (Titanium, Zirconium, Molybdenum).

Hereafter, the total weight for targets with TZM insert and 100% graphite body and the related weight gain for 60, 100, 190 and 250 mm diameters anodes.

Deposition purity

• The Tungsten-Rhenium chemical vapor deposition (CVD) coating is pure and 100% dense.
• ACERDE processes to thickness depositions between 0.5 and 1.5 mm.
• The Rhenium percentage in the layer may be adjusted from 3% to 10 %

Rotation speed

ACERDE's targets help increasing the rotation speed (up to 500 Hz for C-C composite targets) to meet radiology equipments' future expectations.

Reduction of mechanical loads

By reducing mechanical forces on the X-Ray tube's rotation rotor stem thanks to its lightweight, the ACERDE rotating targets increase the tubes life length and decrease the noise.
